Welcome to
Kaniva College
Kaniva College is a P-12 government school in the West Wimmera region of Victoria. We prepare students to thrive in a changing world by developing their social, emotional and academic capabilities and skills.
Kaniva College is a Child Safe School.
Kaniva College would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Wimmera Mallee area: the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and Jupagalk people, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and future.
On behalf of the staff, parents and children of Kaniva College, I welcome you and extend a sincere invitation for you to be an active participant in our community. We are committed to fostering a strong partnership with parents, guardians, and the wider community. We believe that education is a shared responsibility, and we encourage parents to be actively involved in their child's education.
The size and structure of our school allows for each child to be treated as a special individual.
Support is given to students to achieve academically, grow socially and emotionally in a happy, secure environment. We believe in nurturing the whole child and encouraging our children to explore their interests and passions and achieving excellence.
Our values are CLEaR: Creativity, Leadership, Endeavour and Respect. These values underpin everything that we say and do.
I trust that reading our website will give you an insight into Kaniva College. The school endeavours to address the educational needs of students through meaningful and tangible experiences. In this, students are catered for in a balanced and varied program designed to suit student’s needs and interests.
