Wearing uniform is compulsory at Kaniva College. Our uniform requirements are as follows:
Navy shirt with college logo (long or short sleeves).
Navy shorts, skort/cullottes, box pleat skirt or pants/trackpants.
Blue, white and red checked dress.
Red quarter zip fleece jumper with College logo. Polar fleece jumpers are no longer permitted.
White or black socks. Navy blue tights with the school skirt.
Black leather or leather like shoes eg T-bars, lace up or black. Footwear should be primarily black.
Runners/Sneakers (fully enclosed shoes must be worn in technology classes).
Navy Jacket with College logo.
Navy School bucket hat (no logo) is compulsory in Term 1 and 4 when outdoors. Hats with any other logo are not permitted to be worn.
Navy College beanie. Beanies with any other logo are not permitted to be worn.
Plain blue scarf.
No stripes or logos on shorts or trackpants.
Non-school jumpers or hoodies are not permitted, including under school shirts or jumpers.
Hair ribbons should be in school colours.
Nail polish must only be in clear or nude colours.
Long acrylic nails are not permitted. Nails are to be kept at an appropriate length for school activities.
Minimal jewellery is allowed.
Make-up should be minimal and natural.
School jackets can be worn at all times, including in class, unless specified by the teacher if an OHS risk. For example some activities in technology and science classes.
Non-school jackets must be removed on arrival at school.
